📋 Important Requirements
- •Minimum weight: 5 lbs per material type
- •Maximum weight: 5,000 lbs per item
- •Maximum length: 10 ft (safety guideline)
- •Must be: 90% metal by weight for steel/iron/tin
- •Bring: State or Federal-issued photo ID or driver's license (18+ only)
Items We Cannot Accept
For safety and regulatory reasons, we cannot accept these materials
⚠️ Cans (Not Accepted)
Aluminum beverage cans are not accepted at this time.
🚗 Cars
We do not accept complete or partial vehicles.
🔗 Chainlink Fence
Chainlink fencing and similar materials are not accepted.
🧯 Closed Cylinders & High Pressure Cylinders
Includes propane, oxygen, acetylene, CO₂, and similar pressurized containers.
☣️ Asbestos Containing Materials
Any materials suspected to contain asbestos are not accepted.
💣 Explosive Materials, Loaded Ammunition
No explosives, live rounds, or ordnance of any kind.
🔥 Combustible or Flammable Materials
Fuels, paints, degreasers, and non-punctured aerosol cans are not accepted.
💧 Free Flowing Liquids
Includes water, oil, fuel, coolant, and any other liquids.
⚡ PCB-Containing Materials
No equipment or materials containing PCBs (e.g., some transformers/capacitors).
🌡️ Mercury Containing Materials
Includes switches, thermostats, bulbs, and other mercury devices.
☠️ Hazardous Waste
Toxic, poisonous, corrosive, or otherwise regulated hazardous wastes are not accepted.
🪨 Non-Metallic Items
No concrete, wood, asphalt, dirt, debris, tires, or plastic.
☢️ Radioactive Scrap
Anything exhibiting radiation above background levels cannot be accepted.
