MCM Wire is our highest grade of insulated copper wire and has the highest recovery value out of them all.

Specifications

• Must be 250 MCM or larger.
• Must be strippable.

Preparation Tips

• This material must be able to be stripped.
• If it the insulation is adhered to the wire, it will be graded as #1 Insulated.
• If the wire is bent or rolled in such a way that we cannot strip it, it may be downgraded.
• If the wire has connectors or other materials on it other than a single layer of insulation, it may be downgraded.
• If the copper wire inside the insulation is tinned, it may be downgraded.
